Unfortunately, a drama took place at the blackbird’s nest this morning.
Shortly before 10 am, the blackbird was attacked by a squirrel and the nest was robbed.
All the blackbird’s attempts to scare the intruder away were to no avail. Nothing remained of the clutch.
Unfortunately, the blackbird brood was thus lost.

But that too is nature. Nature in particular can often be cruel from a human perspective. Since I want to show nature here in all its facets, I have decided to show this video here as well.
