After our hedgehog Rambo came back from the pauper a few weeks ago, the time had come and another hedgehog could return from care to my garden.
This is the hedgehog that I had to hand over to the pauper for care in June because of an injury.
Now after almost 4 months the hedgehog can return to my garden healthy and dewormed with over 900g fighting weight.
Still early enough for him to find a safe hiding place for the upcoming hibernation.
I am curious if he will show up at the feeding place in the next few days.
However, at the moment there is already a clear decrease in visits to the feeding station. Rambo has not appeared at the feeding station for more than 3 weeks. It is quite possible that he has already gone into hibernation.
In this respect it is possible that we will not see our homecomer again this year…
But the next spring comes and with it also again the hedgehogs.
