In my garden there are two sleeping houses for hedgehogs.
Both have remained empty this winter, at least almost empty. A small mouse had taken up residence in Hedgehog House 1.
But since the day before yesterday, the hedgehog house has once again become the focus of the inhabitants for whom it is intended.
And so, in the night from Friday to Saturday, a hedgehog took his digestive nap in the straw of the hedgehog house for the first time in a long time. Once it had acquired a taste for it, the hedgehog would also seek out the dry and cosy room for a nap the following night.

But this time it was not to remain as calm and relaxed as the night before….
